What do you do at Hatio?

What did you do before Hatio?

I was a Software Engineering fresh graduates from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia before I joined Hatio.

Why did you choose Hatio?

When Hatio SEA was first established in Malaysia, they approached and gave me the opportunity to work with them.

What do you like most about your job?

Family-like culture in the workspace of course. Then, coding is in my blood, that’s why I enjoy what I am doing.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

I’ve been with Hatio since he was a newborn learning to walk. But now, it is running fast like a teenager with a big dream.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

To be honest, the first thing that excites me the most is when knowing the changes in the system architecture that we’re about to get soon. Overall, of course, I would like to see us in the market standing at the same level as those big boys. Also, not to forget, getting our very first bonus ever!!

What departments do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I engage the most with CX Team. The collaboration is more towards the user experience of our product. From there, I know that a lot of improvements needed developers like us to level up our game in this field.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

Back in 2020, there was an integration with Xero Accounting and Xilnex POS system. However, unfortunately, the project was discontinued due to certain reasons. Yet, I am still glad that I could contribute something that time and remain some features for the current system.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

Family-like culture, for sure! The hierarchical structure is there but the feeling is more like a family. We have activities, celebrations, and more that bring us together.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Exploring new things in terms of coding, mobile gaming, garphic designing, eating, sleeping driving and more…
