What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Lead Engineer and I am in charge of leading the Engineering team and liaise other departments in the company. Things that I am dealing with day-to-day basis are allocating resources, making key technical decision, gathering feedbacks and more.

What did you do before Hatio?

I have experience in Software Development, planning, defining, designing and building Web Based Application before I joined Hatio.

Why did you choose Hatio?

I joined Hatio in order to broaden my horizons and develop my technical abilities. I’m very excited to see what the future holds for me in this position.

What do you like most about your job?

Understanding how different businesses work is what intrigued me the most, that is the reason I like about my job as I get to explore in this aspect.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

Hacking a solution from a garage-style operation to a multi-department operation.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

Come out with a highly scalable and performant solution that can disrupt the industry.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I had a challenging and exciting experience working with the CX team. 

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

I have involved in product pitching for one of our clients with the sales team. This is all about explaining and convincing that our product is the best fit for your requirement and recommendations which will help you to get benefits from our solution.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

We’re committed to create an inclusive, respectful and diverse workplace. At Mention, politics are something we avoid in the office, but not feelings. We believe that people should be themselves at work.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

I like to acquire new information and connect with people. I believe that learning is for life, and that it comes from within.

Meet Ee Chern Hao, the Software Engineer in Hatio!

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Software Engineer and I am in charge of implementing new features in WMS and fixing bugs.

What did you do before Hatio?

Before I began working at Hatio, I was a university student pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.

Why did you choose Hatio?

The reason I choose Hatio is that I wanted to explore the Supply Chain industry and work together as a team.

What do you like most about your job?

Colleagues that are fun and friendly are what I like the most about my job.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The office space has expanded as the number of people is growing.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

The unknowns in the future is what excites me the most as I grow in this friendly working environment.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have collaborated with the CX and Supports team, it was a good opportunity as I get to know different working methods from their team as well. 

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

WMS is the cross-functional project that I took part in and I learned a lot through that.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

The people and the environment that allows me to learn and bond with is my favourite part of Hatio’s culture.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

I will keep myself busy during my freetime to really get away from my work and relax.

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Support Engineer and I handle Customers’ related issue.

What did you do before Hatio?

I was studying before I started my career path at Hatio.

Why did you choose Hatio?

I was attracted to the framework architecture at Hatio and that became one of the reasons I joined Hatio.

What do you like most about your job?

Things I like about my job are that I get to meet new people and befriend them.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

While the employee benefits remain, the management team has improved a lot over time.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

I am excited to see the growth of Hatio and break through my KPIs.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have collaborated with the Developer Team to work on a highly prioritised customer issue.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

I participated in cross-functional projects like onboarding clients onto our system.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

Communication. This is my favourite part of Hatio’s culture as team members always communicate with each other even on nonworking days whenever there are issues.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Playing games and managing my own business are what I like to do during my free time.

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Product Engineer and I am in charge of API integration, Support.

What did you do before Hatio?

I worked as a Software Developer before I start to work in Hatio.

Why did you choose Hatio?

I like what Hatio is doing: providing a cloud supply chain for warehouses.

What do you like most about your job?

The chance to learn new skills is what I like most about my job.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The number of employees has increased and the objective for this company has become clearer.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

The expansion of the company will be an exciting adventure and this excites me the most.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have collaborated with Support Engineers. The collaboration is towards finding the root cause using a more advanced method.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

I have been involved in cross-functional projects by doing secure file transfer protocols.

The open-plan office concept is my favourite part of Hatio’s culture.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

I love to listen to and discover new music when I am not working.

Meet Noratikah Mohd Amin, the Software Engineer in Hatio!

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Software Engineer and I am in charge of fixing high prioritised customers’ issues.

What did you do before Hatio?

I was a student doing my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT).

Why did you choose Hatio?

The casual working environment is something that is unique in Hatio and this is one of the reasons I chose to work here.

What do you like most about your job?

Not only was I learning more about designing SQL queries for databases, but my coworkers were very transparent, teaching me on how to handle customer expectations.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

Collaboration between Sellercraft and Hatio happened.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

I am hoping to have improvements in my career development by gaining new skill sets and qualifications.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

Before this, I am under customer support and my work is heavily related to customers. For now, I am collaborating with the CX Team and I focus more on fixing technical issues that require coding solutions.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

I collect features requirements from the Product Team to enhance features in Operato.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

The culture that celebrates everyone’s birthday and there will be activities organised to improve teamwork is my favourite part of Hatio’s culture.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Food hunting is what I do during my free time and I enjoy doing it very much!

Meet Ahmed Qaid, the Product Engineer in Hatio!

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Product Engineer and I am in charge of API development and integrations.

What did you do before Hatio?

I was a part-time software engineer before I joined Hatio and the experience taught me better on how to adapt Computer Science knowledge to the workforce.

Why did you choose Hatio?

I chose Hatio because I was interested in e-commerce and the company is specialized in supply chain solutions.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the workstyle here where everyone owns their tasks and does them well.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

Hatio expanded in B2C by making partnerships and integrating its services.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

Things that excite me most this year are the knowledge and experience that I will gain by the end of the year.

What department do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have collaborated with the CX and Support Team. Collaborating with the Support Team is usually about managing tough situations while collaborating with CX Team is leaner but mostly requires documenting stuff.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

Integration & API documentation, client setup, Risk management and support are the cross-functional projects that I have been involved in.

Hatio’s culture focuses on openness with a big emphasis on communication.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Hanging out with my friends during my free time.

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Web Developer and I am in charge of front-end coding.

What did you do before Hatio?

I worked as a web developer in my previous company for 2 years, therefore, I would like to switch to a new environment.

Why did you choose Hatio?

Hatio turned out to be my choice because I see the opportunity here for me to learn as it is also a tech-related company.

What do you like most about your job?

Colleagues that are nice and friendly is the biggest reason I like my job because I feel comfortable working around this bunch of people.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The interface of the webpage improved a lot since I have joined.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

The arrival of my first child is what I am expecting the most this year and not to mention the growth of mine and the family.

What departments do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have not collaborated with any departments yet so far, and would like to work with some in the near future.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

The tasks that I am currently working on do not require me to participate in cross-functional projects.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

There will be monthly birthday celebrations for the month’s birthday babies, then we will eat and celebrate together which turns out to be my favourite part of Hatio’s culture.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Spending time with my family is the best thing to do while I am not working.

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Software Engineer from the Engineering Team.

What did you do before Hatio?

I was an undergraduate studying Software Engineering Course at Tun Hussein Onn University before I joined Hatio.

Why did you choose Hatio?

The reason I choose to continue working here in Hatio after my internship is because of the culture here.

What do you like most about your job?

Things that I like about the job are that I get to learn a lot of things here and most importantly, I get to be more detail-oriented.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The software of Hatio has been improved by collaborating with Sellercraft since I joined.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

I am looking forward to learning more things that will improve my technical skills.

What departments do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I had an opportunity to collaborate with the product team and this collaboration smoothened the process of my current job.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

The cross-functional project that I have been involved in was to collect product test cases from the product team.

Things that I enjoy working in Hatio is that there’s no gap between the seniors and juniors.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

I like to read novels during my free time and the best novel that I have read so far is <Empayar>.

What do you do at Hatio?

I am the Assistant Project Manager and Front End in Hatio.

What did you do before Hatio?

Before I started my working life in Hatio, I was a fresh graduate.

Why did you choose Hatio?

I was referred by my friend Sol to this position I am in right now despite the fact that I would also like to learn more new knowledge knowing that this company is technology-based which is what I am interested in.

What do you like most about your job?

I would say the flexibility that the company gives as co-workers here take ownership of their own work and our employers will not micro-manage us.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The language proficiency on the website and Hatio’s relationship with clients have improved.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

New knowledge that is waiting to be unlocked is what excites me the most.

What departments do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

I have collaborated with Marketing Department. It was interesting as I get to know more knowledge in terms of Social Media restrictions, Podcast channel setup, and more.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

The cross-functional project that I have been involved in was setting up a warehouse system for Hatio’s client.

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

Hatio provides a positive space in terms of a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued working here.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Spending time with my family, playing sports like Futsal, and riding bikes is what I like to do during my free time.

Meet Yan Joe, Administrator at Hatio!

What do you do at Hatio?

I am working as an Admin in Hatio.

What did you do before Hatio?

Previously, I have done work that is very closely related to what I am working on now, however, I used to attend to clients with Customs, JPJ, and Bank-related issues.

Why did you choose Hatio?

The reason I choose Hatio is that I want to have a new working environment and I want to step out of my comfort zone in a different field of business since I have been working too long in the Automotive Sector.

What do you like most about your job?

Co-workers, I can say I really enjoy working with my co-workers and I do care a lot about my workspace. Hence, I feel comfortable and the current working environment gives me positive vibes as if we are a big family.

What has Hatio changed since you joined?

The environment is more cheerful and fun ever since I joined Hatio as I love to joke around and talk around with every co-worker.

What excites you the most about the year ahead?

Things that excite me the most are the new things that I am able to learn and also the challenges ahead to make me a better person.

What departments do you collaborate with? What is that like? 

IT department is one of the departments that I have collaborated with before. Through that collaboration, I was exposed to a new field and I get to learn and try on a lot of new stuff which I find interesting.

What cross-functional projects have you been involved in? 

KPJ project is what I was involved in during the collaboration. I was in charge of assisting work related to Content Management Systems (CMS).

What’s your favourite part about the Hatio culture?

The fact that this environment allows us to collaborate and learn together.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? 

Riding, cooking, and working in part-time food delivery are what I like to do during my free time.
